How long will my follow-up appointment be? When will I go back for a follow-up?
Follow up appointments may take 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the Apos® trained clinician and the clinic.
Most patients have their first follow-up appointment 1-4 weeks after their initial appointment and then another appointment 8 weeks after that. Please note: some programs and locations have different timelines when it comes to the follow up schedule.

Consult with your Apos® trained clinician for specifics regarding your treatment program.

What makes Apos® unique?
Apos® is unique in that it is the only company that has patents on functional gait modification technology. Meaning, Apos® is the only technology available on the market that has the power to modify your gait, improve your function, and relieve your knee pain.
What is gait analysis?
Gait analysis can provide valuable insight into how and why your body functions and moves the way it does. Apos® trained clinicians use gait analysis to help map out patients’ walking movements in order to customize the knee treatment for optimal improvement of your gait (walking mechanics).
A computerized system is used to record data about the way you walk to help clinicians analyze the movement patterns themselves. Understanding how the patient’s legs, pelvis, and lower back joints function together helps us calibrate the Apos® foot-worn device accordingly.
There are a lot of elements taken into consideration ensuring you receive a custom treatment and beneficial results.
For more information, see our blog post about gait analysis.
